our laziest months (6 weeks really)  so far - nothing done. it's getting embarrassing saying it now but the 'house of superflake' zine is still a reality. we've also started work on our most inane project yet - hopefully we can get that out of our system and on to the ususal tat. a new hoarder is in the offing but this may be hampered by trying to move a ton of stuff out of the house it is currently kept in - sounds complicated but it isn't, what it is is a mountain of boxes (books, magazines, music, toy figures and more) i have to find a place for soon. recently been listening to (in no particular order) > basil kirchin (various), mordant music (the tower exhummed), shangri-las (greatest hits), psychomania (soundtrack), wolf creek (soundtrack), dinosaur jr (bits of green mind), millie & andrea (temper tantrum), tons of psyche/freakbeat comps., miles davies (miles in the sky), omar souleyman (dabke 2020), pocahaunted (island diamonds), 13th floor elevators (easter everywhere), codeine (frigid stars), dexys midnight runners (don't stand me down), judee sill (judee sill). posted by superflake / july 31st 2009

current listening > nisennenmondai (neiji/tori), cecil taylor (conquistador), alice coltrane (ptah the el daoud), mordant music (the end of the pier), the meters (look-ka py py), killa (tuota tuota) / current magazines > new wire, new garageland, new juxtapoz / just eaten > sausage sandwich   posted by superflake / june 10th 2009
